ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Tadashi is the Poincare Visiting Professor at Stanford and a don in Cambridge. Via the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences he is active in outreach in the developing world. Before his math PhD from Princeton he used to work as a philologist, after being a painter.
